About Us.

Three friends took a leap of faith and started a taco truck business.  The food truck only offered one option for a choice of taco filling.  After perfecting the art of creating and serving great tasting tacos over the course of 3 years from the food truck, they decided to move in to a brick and mortar building allowing them to expand the menu with additional choices.  They couldn’t have done it without all of their loyal customers supporting them for the three years and beyond.  They are now in the process of expanding the brand to other locations around Phoenix.  Not a day goes by without showing appreciation back to the local communities that have made it possible for this dream to become a reality.

Our Resto.

In November 2019, El Taco Santo opened the first storefront at 4025 E. Chandler Blvd, Phoenix, Arizona, in Ahwatukee.  The taco truck is still available for catering events.

On January 1st, 2021, the El Taco Santo family invited Johnny Byrd to join to manage the Ahwatukee location.  The new partner had to be someone that lived in the local community, loved the brand, and truly believed in the standards and not just another business person.  It is our belief that this approach will help maintain the high quality products served to our local communities.

We share the Plaza at Mountainside with several other businesses such as Trader Joe’s, Pomegranate Cafe, Star of India, and Panda Express

Our Food Policy

We stand behind everything we serve.  We order ingredients several times per week to ensure quality fresh ingredients are used. Our kitchen prep team prepares our salsas daily.

Our Core Values

Provide our customers with high quality street tacos.  Always place customer service at the top of the list of priorities.

Team of Chefs

Meet The Taste Experts

We have several Chefs on our staff that have roots in Mexico.  This lets our customers enjoy as close to authentic meals without being in Mexico proper.
